Expanding on the heartfelt tribute to founder Kusi’s mother in the previous collection, LIFE MOODBOARD delves deeper, tracing the evolution from a budding fashion intern to an established designer. As one of the winners of The Berlin Contemporary and the first African-based brand to hit the Berlin Runway, the collection is a tapestry of emotions and experiences, intricately woven to reflect the many stages that have shaped the designer’s life and artistry. It celebrates pivotal moments, personal milestones, and creative expression : a moodboard of life itself.

At the core of LIFE MOODBOARD is the concept of TIME: How do we measure it? How do we honor it? You can’t cheat time.

The collection explores the dynamic intersections of past, present, and future through fabric, form, and feeling. Each piece stands as both a timeless and modern artefact, telling stories that are personal yet universally resonant. It’s where history meets present realities and imagined futures, encouraging reflection on individual journeys. The loss of a close friend profoundly shaped this narrative. "Losing someone so dear made me reconsider time and its preciousness—how we use it, with whom we share it. Despite sharing so much, I was left wishing for more memories, more moments of beauty," reflects Kusi.

In LIFE MOODBOARD, PALMWINE IceCREAM refines its silhouettes, presenting an elevated yet polished aesthetic where innovation meets style. The collection incorporates up-cycled leather, wood, raffia, calabash, and dead-stock materials, underscoring PWIC’s unwavering commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship.The colour story includes rich browns, deep burgundy reds, earthy greens, and bold blacks - shades chosen to evoke warmth, transformation, and the depth of lived experiences. Silhouettes strike a balance between structure and fluidity, symbolising growth and evolution through life’s diverse phases.
